It's been 6 years since I began this journey as a writer. And it all started with this series. In truth I began out of boredom, and began to write what I thought would just be a short story. I began with a simple idea that "what if you accidentally were to pick up a powerful magical stone, out of the millions around you, and become one of the most powerful beings in the world."

What can I say about old school games. I grew up in the 1980s and am a HUGE fan of Sierra Online and their Quest series. I pay homage to one of my top favourite game series of all time Space Quest in my Dr. Vex series of books. I dunno, I just loved the idea of a space fast food place and Monolith Burger had a great ring to the name. Believe it or not but the music they incorporated to "brand" the restaurant in the game is very catchy. Giving credit where credit is due: All hail Sierra Online for creating this iconic fictional interstellar greasy fast food chain! This is my reference and inspiration. BTW I draw inspiration and reference from many pop-culture things from my past (mostly 80s and 90s) in my writing. See how many you can pick out. 

Scrubbot! That loveable misunderstood trodden on bundle of suppressed rage and "Why Me!". This is something special. If you love Dr. Seuss, he inspired me to do some poetry in his style... and include colouring pages! It's an old school activity book based on broken dreams and foam... lots of foam.
