It's been 6 years since I began this journey as a writer. And it all started with this series. In truth I began out of boredom, and began to write what I thought would just be a short story. I began with a simple idea that "what if you accidentally were to pick up a powerful magical stone, out of the millions around you, and become one of the most powerful beings in the world."
This idea blossomed into the trilogy known as "The Stones of Mana Saga". A story about magic stones, a war between mages and an alien invasion force known as The Hatred. It features, personal sacrifice, torture, escapes, battles, love and revenge. It took 3 years to fully complete this trilogy and I am proud of every moment I spent on it. It truly was a lot of work to complete.
So what's the next step? Well I have been working on the sequel to the series that takes place 20 years later featuring a new heroine named Alora. I delve deeper into the lore of Llewedor and explain more about the history of the Spire. I also revisit some familiar characters from the original trilogy, to see what they have become in the future.
I hope that someday soon, I shall finish this project for all to enjoy, especially those who enjoyed the trilogy.
